I recently went to NYC with one of my favorite skincare brands Caudalie, pronounced (koh-da-lee) for the launch of their new Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream.
The new night cream has glycolic acid, papaya extract and brightening vine sap viniferine. It acts as a gentle overnight peel and with the trio of gentle exfoliating and brightening ingredients (papaya extract, glycolic acid and vine sap viniferine) the cream is to diminish the appearance of dark spots and acne scars as well as leaving the skin looking even and feeling smooth.
I have been using the cream for a couple of weeks now and even though that’s not the longest amount of time to see a difference, I already have. My skin feels so much more hydrated, which I need this time of year as well as my skin does look brighter and less red.
The Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream as well as other Caudalie products can be found in their boutique and spas as well as at Sephora Canada and USA.
What We Did in NYC
We first had lunch at The Standard Grill in the Meatpacking District before heading over to the Caudalie boutique and spa for facials. My facial was so relaxing I could have taken a nap and stayed all day. The spa was so nice, it has a storefront where you can find all the Caudalie products as well as a little cafe that serves up coffee and wine from their vineyard in Bordeaux.
After our facials I headed over to Soho were I visited some of my favorite shops before heading back to the hotel. We stayed at 1 Hotel Central Park, I’ve never stayed at this hotel before, it was a great location close to Central Park, the rooms were quite big especially for an NYC hotel and the beds were super comfy.
Later that night Caudalie hosted a dinner at the hotel to celebrate the launch of the new Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream. It was seriously such a beautiful dinner my iphone photos don’t do it justice ; )
The next morning we had breakfast at La Mercerie before heading to the airport. It was such wonderful trip and I’m so grateful to have learned more about such an amazing brand and meet new friends along the way.
My Top 5 Caudalie Products
Though I have been really impressed with all of the Caudalie products I’ve tried, my top 5 are as follows,
Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, I love this serum, it makes my skin feel hydrated and it makes my skin look glowing and bright.
Instant Detox Mask, I love a good mask and this is one of my favorites! It’s made from 99.3% natural clay to draw out dirt from clogged pores. It’s so calming and smells of lavender, parsley & chamomile. It’s also gentle enough to use twice a week on my sensitive skin.
Beauty Elixir, I’ve loved this product from the first time I used it, it smells fresh and wakes up my senses in the morning. I personally use it as a toner but I also keep a travel size one in my bag and spray it on my face throughout the day, it’s honestly just so refreshing.
The Des Vignes Shower Gel, a good shower gel is hard to find so I was very happy when I found this one. Lightly scented notes of White Musk, Neroli and Ginger, their signature scent . I love that it’s not an overpowering fragrance so I can use it morning or night, it also leaves my skin feeling soft which is a plus.
Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Night Cream, this new night cream has already become one of my favorites. I’ve been loving how soft and hydated my skin has felt since starting to use it, I’m excited to see how my skin looks over the next month.
